Born and raised in the Central Valley of California, I was introduced to video games at an early age by my older brothers. The earliest memory of my first ever video game is playing Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes on the original PlayStation. Since then, I have become obsessed with video games. 

 

One of my biggest passions is writing. I always enjoyed how writing is an outlook into one’s perspective and you get a sense of who they are because of it. I appreciate how flexible and creative writing can be to the writer and that is most exemplified by journalism. 

 

Once I saw my first published article on The Rampage’s website, I quickly made the connection that I can do the same work I did to cover that story but towards the gaming industry. I felt at that moment my inner child wake up and see how it can be possible to be involved in the world of gaming. 

 

Other notable aspects about me are that I strive to be professional, confident, and disciplined in all that I do. One of my strongest values is gratitude because I would not be in the position I am today if it were not for my family, friends, peers, instructors, mentors, and colleagues. I am utterly grateful for all of them contributing to my life in some way or another. 

 

Some fun facts about me are that I was in the NJROTC Program all four years in high school, I have completed a marathon, I am a huge fan of abstract hip-hop with my favorite artist being MIKE, and I love superheroes because they have been a form of inspiration for me growing up watching the 90’s Spider-Man cartoon, and more so towards Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy.
