My name is Marco Hernandez and I strive to be an outstanding professional in public relations, marketing, communications, sales & journalism. 

 

I am a freelance video game journalist aiming to inform, represent, and foster a future for youth, minority, & smaller communities in or around the gaming industry. I also want to cover the talented teams developing games, write reviews and cover industry topics.

 

Since I was a child playing the first Marvel Vs Capcom on the original PlayStation, video games quickly became more than just a hobby. They have helped shaped me and my future goals. Some favorite video games of mine are Marvel’s Spider-Man, Destiny 2, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Prey and ABZÛ.

 

I have merely begun my career as a video game journalist but I am still seeking to grow my work experiences and expand my network. This portfolio will demonstrate all the work I have done. 

 

I have my associates in journalism from Fresno City College, and I have my bachelor's of arts from Fresno State in media, communication & journalism with a focus in advertising and public relations.
